NANCY CAROL MOODY
was born in Southern California and grew up in a house on a hill from which watched the Disneyland fireworks on summer evenings. She received a B.A. in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, then moved to Illinois, where she studied Germanic Languages and Literature at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 1990, Nancy found her way to Eugene, Oregon, the city she now calls home.
Nancy's work has appeared in a number of literary journals. Her full-length book, Photograph With Girls was published in October, 2009, by Traprock Books. She is active in the Lane Literary Guild as well as the Oregon Poetry Association (OPA). With Sharon Munson, Nancy coordinates the OPA-sponsored reading series at the Springfield Public Library. She is a member of the Let Them Eat Cake Poets and the First and Third Writing Group, and is currently at work on two new collections, Negative Space and Zorse.
